Library Updates and More

There’s good news and not so good news. First, the good news…

The good folks at the Fair Oaks Library have extended my Sing-Along Club residency through May of 2013! And the best part is that we’ve added to last year’s schedule. Once September starts, I’ll be singing there twice a month. Oh yeah. On the 1st Tuesday of each month, music time will start at 6:30 pm. Our hope is that families will come after work and dinner to sing and dance with me. On the 2nd Tuesday, the fun will begin at 11:30 am. I really appreciate the support from everyone at Fair Oaks Library. I’ve been having big fun there this summer. And, yes, there will be a music time on Friday, August 17 starting at 10:00 am. That will be the last summertime session so you don’t want to miss it. Thank you, Jennifer and all my Fair Oaks friends. Let’s keep the good times rolling…

More good news…

Circle the date Saturday, September 1, on your calendar. Funderland is having their 1st ever “Back To School Extravaganza” and you’re all invited. And guess who else they invited? Me. I will be singing 3 big sets of music starting at 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Wow. There will be activities, games, prizes, and, of course, all those fabulous rides begining at 10:00 am and going until 6:00 pm. Check out Funderland’s website for more information. Come early, stay late. And the best part is it’s FREE.

And the not so good news…

My music residency at Valley Hi Library has been suspended indefinitely. I have been singing at Valley Hi for more than two and a half years and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks goes out to everyone who joined me each week for music time. I hope you can come to one of the other libraries I visit. All Sing-Along Club dates are posted on the “Live Shows” page.

And now for something completely different…

During the school year, I sing each week at two preschools. Usually, they are both jam packed with a waiting list. For some strange reason, Tiny Tot Time in Land Park has openings this September. It’s a wonderful preschool run by my friend, Rachael Hinrichsen. If you’ve ever taken your child to the playground behind the zoo and seen the little one room school house there, that’s it. If you have a 3 – 5 year old and haven’t made preschool plans yet for the fall, please look into Tiny Tot Time. You’ll be glad you did.

That’s all the news that’s fit to print. Please remember not to forget to sign up for the Mister Cooper Newsletter. Thank you for making the trip to the library to sing with me this summer. School is right around the corner. More updates soon…
