Here Comes the Holidaze…

Rise&Shine*

I know. I know. It’s been 7 weeks since I posted something here on the website. That last post was right at the beginning of the school year, so it has been quite a while. And though saying I’ve been very busy is true, it’s still only an excuse. Allow me to bring you all up to date…

The list of schools I sing with every week has grown this year. I now visit six elementary schools and two preschools, singing “songs that teach” everywhere I go. Then add to that the 2 libraries where I appear each week and another 2 libraries where I play once a month. Wow. I am so thankful that so many places have invited me to sing and dance with kids. It’s a lot but I love my job.

I was very happy when Pandora (the Internet radio station) included the “Mister Cooper is for the birds” CD in their music system. Now, I am even more excited that they have just added the “I Like Your Hat” CD. Here’s the thing. There are 2 listings for me on Pandora, both as Mister Cooper and as Mister Cooper (Children’s). I’m trying to get them to fix it and consolidate both listings into one. Please stay tuned…

To celebrate, I am putting the latest CD on sale for only five dollars! That’s right, the “I Like Your Hat” CD is available now through the end of 2013 for the low, low, price of only five dollars (in person sales only). I might add that this CD would make a wonderful stocking stuffer for anyone on your holiday gift list. Step right up…

Speaking of the end of the year, I will be playing a fabulous New Year Eve show (my first in I don’t know how long) at the Pocket Greenhaven Library starting at 11:00 am. It’s going to be something special, so mark your calendars now. Ring out the old with the kids at the library and then ring in the new at midnight with the grown-ups. There’s no school, so I hope the whole family can make it. Oh yeah…

And speaking of libraries, the Belle Cooledge Library is renovating the community room for the whole month of December. Therefore, no music time after November 26 until the work has been completed. I will keep you posted on any new developments. Please check the “Live Shows” page on this website for where you can go to sing along during the holidays. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

That’s all for now. I will try to be better about sharing new information in the future. Now that the holiday season is almost here, everyone is going to get a little busier. So, let me take this moment to thank you all for your continued support of all things Mister Cooper. Thank you for coming out to the libraries. Thank you for picking up a CD or two (“I Like Your Hat” = $5). Thank you for singing along. Thank you for everything…

The End.
