Do you remember my friend, Keilah Woodard? She’s the owner/operator of, the best website for families in the whole Sacramento area. It’s chock full of information about where you can take your children for all kinds of fun adventures. My favorite link she has there is the list of restaurants where kids can eat for free. It’s a wonderful one-stop resource for everything you need to know about everything you want to know having to do with your youngsters. Please visit You’ll be glad you did.

Keilah is throwing a party and she wants you all to come. It’s going to be at Funderland on this Friday, June 29, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. There’s going to be games, face painting, a big raffle, a magician, and of course, lots of rides (discounted $10 wristbands). She was nice enough to invite me to come by and sing some songs for everyone. And I said, yes yes yes. It’s going to be a fabulous time for all who attend, so you’ve got to be there. Come early, stay late, and GET SIDETRACKED!

Please don’t forget. Yes, music time at the Fair Oaks Library will continue this Friday, June 29, from 10:00 until 10:30 am (set your alarm clock, Dan). Come to the side door and be ready to sing along with your most beautiful voices. Music time at the Belle Cooledge Library on Tuesday, July 3, is CANCELLED due to a furlough day (all libraries will be closed). We’ll meet again on Tuesday, July 10, at 4:00 pm. Mark your calendars now. OK? OK!

The weather has been fantastic lately and should remain so tomorrow night for Music in the Park. So come on out and enjoy the evening in Curtis Park. It wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t there…
