I have added some new things to the website that may interest you. But first, here’s a special performance announcement…

Next week on Wednesday, August 27, starting at 10:30 am, I will be singing once again at Busy Kidz in Folsom. I had so much fun last time that we’re going to do it one more time. It’s a fabulous place for kids to play. And just 30 minutes east from Belle Cooledge Library, so it’s not too far. Remember the rain when I played there at the end of March? I hope you can make the road trip. Here’s the LINK and another LINK

Now, for the new stuff. I have been working with a man named Mike Gray (dad of Olivia), who is the art director for a company called Brainzy. It’s an educational site for kids of all ages. He asked me to write some songs and they added the animation. The videos are posted on the VIDEOS page. They came out great and I hope you enjoy them. Then go to Brainzy.com for more. Thanks again, Mike…

After one of 2014’s first library shows at Belle Cooledge, a fine, young man named Sean Fisher talked to me about a term paper he was assigned for a class at SCC. He wanted to do it about my music. I answered some questions online and then he did the rest. The result has now been added to the website, on the BIO page. Thank you, Sean. I never found out what your final grade was. I gave it an A+…

“Pirate Ship” CD update. All the recording has been completed. We’re half way home. It’s going to be great. I can’t wait until it’s done, but I have to. It’s now out of my hands. My producer/engineer, Scott, is taking over from here. How long does it take to mix and master 17 songs? Hopefully, not long at all…

And lastly, a medical update. My eye operations continue and have been successful so far. My right eye procedures are now complete and I can see 20 – 25. Pretty good. Last week (August 12), I started with the left eye. All is well and everything is scheduled to be finished by the end of the year. I may not need glasses after all these years of wearing them. How will that look? Only one way to find out. Ever forward…

I hope to see you next week for four (4) BIG shows right before school starts. Especially the Busy Kidz event. It would be nice to see a few familiar faces, like yours. Getting together to sing some songs is a fantastic way to end the summer. Don’t you agree?

  1. Job very well done on the ‘Brainzy’ videos. They take math concepts from the abstract to the concrete and are easy for any young child to follow. Awesome work, Mister Cooper!
